The Trenton Golden Hawks are pleased to announce the hiring of Peter Goulet as the team’s new Head Coach and General Manager for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
Peter served most recently as General Manager and Head Coach of the Kingston Voyageurs (OJHL) and looks forward to working with the team’s ownership and staff this season. Goulet says he is committed to putting a great product on the ice while ensuring that the players are active in the community and get a good education.
Peter Goulet brings a vast amount of junior and pro-hockey experience to the Golden Hawks, having previously served as an Assistant Coach with the Brampton Beast (ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa/Belleville Senators), as well as Head Coach and General Manager with the Nepean Raiders (CCHL), prior to holding the same position with the Voyageurs. Peter has also scouted for the Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) and the Mississauga Steelheads (OHL).
With former General Manager and Head Coach Thomas Milne leaving this off-season for personal reasons, and with assistants Justin Peca and Colin Birkas taking positions with the Milton Menace (OJHL) and Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL) respectively, Goulet will begin the process of interviewing candidates to fill out his staff for the upcoming season shortly.
